I remember being told the same thing after my first fight, my fight wasn’t pretty, I got knocked around and in the first few seconds found myself on the ring floor but after it, having been the last fight of the night I actually won and they told me that I had the biggest heart of all of us from the gym that had fought. That was an amazing moment for me cause it took me so long to get to that point. I feared the ring, the pain but now a part of me craves it, win or lose it doesn’t matter you give yourself to the ring. It owns you until the fight ends one way or another and it doesn’t matter what happens as long as you give it everything you have. I have to do that out of respect for my opponent and their training. Great read and it brings me back to want to get back into the ring, I have 7 fights, so close to double digits that how can I not get back into the ring.

Passionate about muay thai and words with a wanderlust. I write here for me, thoughts into the void even if the echo only has a small reach, that can be enough.
